Basic Gardening & Weeding Program

Standard Gardening & Weeding Program
(14) Biweekly visits at a rate of $35 per man hour
Advanced Gardening & Weeding Program

Our program options ensure that however well-maintained you’d like your landscape to be is always up to you. The more often we’re on your property, the better maintained your property will look. Our gardening and weeding services are billed on an hourly basis, and rates vary based on the program level you choose. We can give you a general idea of the average charge per visit for your specific landscape, but clients should be aware that this price will fluctuate based on need from season to season-- and in some cases, even week to week. A one-hour minimum charge per visit applies to all programs.
Gardening and weeding services may involve weekly, biweekly or monthly visits to your property. Regardless of the program chosen, services performed during these visits will include:
This includes “dead-heading”, pruning, cutting back and cleaning up of perennials. Examples of perennial plants include roses, daylilies, hostas, lavender, black-eyed susans, hydrangeas and many more.
Along with keeping your landscape beds neat, our crew will walk the remainder of your property and remove sticks, branches, and any other miscellaneous debris. Any mulch or ornamental rock that has found its way onto your turf will be raked back into the beds.
While light pruning on a regular basis will help keep your ornamental trees and shrubs looking neat and attractive, this service will not take the place of the full trimming that your trees and shrubs need two to three times per year.
Your mulch will be turned over multiple times per year to keep it looking fresh, and to ensure that it breaks down evenly.
While weeds may “grow like weeds” throughout the season, our regular weeding service will keep weeds fewer, smaller, and less visible. Of course, the more often our gardeners visit, the more weed-free your beds will be throughout the year.
Annual plants will be removed from annual beds and planters as they expire, and annual beds will be turned over to prepare the soil for future plantings.
This includes removal of trash and handbills, sticks and branches, as well as dead plant material. This service will not replace spring and fall cleanup leaf removals for landscape beds. Those thorough services are performed by our lawn care team each spring and fall. However, if any leaves or debris should collect in your beds between these services, our gardeners will remove them to keep your beds neat.
At the end of each growing season, our gardeners will perform this service to prepare perennials for the next season and to keep a neat, maintained look to your landscape through fall, winter, and early spring.
